"Inquiry into the interconnectedness of human-made systems and communities; the structure and function of organizations; societal decision-making; economic activities and their impact on humankind and the environment."
What Students Will Do
Students will research the roles and responsibilities of workers in our community such as librarians, bus/train operators, fire fighters, nurses, police officers, doctors, mail carriers, and more. Students will brainstorm ways they can be productive citizens within their own community. We will culminate our experience by designing, measuring, and crafting our own community worker clothes and accessories to use for future role-playing opportunities in the classroom.
